Hidden markers.
A clearer picture.

A previous survey or a visible marker gives us a starting point. I search for the existing metal pins that may be hidden nearby.

Illustration only. Pin locations and connecting lines are examples, not a boundary map. Locating markers does not establish or verify legal boundaries or replace a licensed land survey.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A clear plan.
A careful search.

We’ll discuss your location, the likely search area, access, and the cost before arranging a visit.

01 / SHARE THE CLUES

Tell me about the property.

Let me know your town, which markers you’re trying to find, and whether any are already visible. Mention any survey documents you have.

02 / AGREE ON THE AREA

Focus the search.

We’ll talk through the available information and agree on an accessible search area. Mention the terrain and arrange the property owner’s permission.

03 / FOLLOW THE SIGNAL

Look for existing metal.

I search the agreed area with a metal detector. Buried metal can have many sources, so a signal alone doesn’t identify a property pin.

PROPERTY PIN QUESTIONS

Know what
you’re booking.

Will this tell me exactly where my boundary is?

No. This is a search for existing metal pins and markers. A licensed land surveyor is the right person to establish or verify your boundaries.

What if I don’t have a survey?

Get in touch with what you do know. We can discuss whether there are enough clues to make a focused search practical.

Can every pin be found?

No recovery is guaranteed. A marker may be missing, made of a material a metal detector cannot detect, or difficult to locate because of its depth or nearby metal.

How much will it cost?

Property pin searches are $125 for up to 90 minutes on one property. Extra time is $25 per half-hour, only with your approval. The search fee applies whether or not pins are found. See pricing and travel details.
